Client

UK Defence company part of a larger European Defence OEM, looking to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to the Indian military.

Objectives

  • Understand the Indian Offset scene.

Client

USA company with military satellite communications interference detection, geo-location technology and products.

Objectives

  • Provide advice and guidance on the International Defence market (NATO, Turkey, East Central Europe and UK).
  • Identify requirements within the defence services, Telecoms regulator and Direct to Home Satellite operators.
  • Arrange presentations of products/technology to the defence and other target customers.
  • Develop local partnerships with companies for each opportunity.
  • Support all aspects of marketing and sales and represent customer fully.

Offsets

Tri Polus is currently working with a range of organizations including OEMs, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers looking to understand the Offset scene in various regions.

Various International and local Indian organizations, mainly OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies.

Services

  • Work with Indian companies, foreign Tier 2-3 companies to ensure that planned Offset projects are eligible for Offsets in India.
  • Providing workshops to organizations looking to understand and learn how to benefit from the Offset market internationally and within India (Defence and Civil).
  • Workshops also include understanding the Indian Defence Procurement Procedures (DPP) and dealing with foreign partnerships, MOUs, JVs etc.

  • Provide Offset projects to its clients to fulfil existing and future Offset needs. Projects are in various stages of development from ready for inclusion in proposals to ready for execution.

Aerospace

Tri Polus is working with various aerospace clients to establish a supply chain for aerospace engineering and manufacturing. As part of this activity Tri Polus will be working with clients who want to establish production facilities in lower-cost regions as well as for new Offset projects resulting from on-going procurements. The following provides a summary of the project areas currently being worked: 

Client

Indian company and various International organizations, mainly OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies.

Project

  • Tri Polus is responsible for marketing and representing a new tax beneficial Special Economy Zone (SEZ) Precision Manufacturing site of 300 acres which was operational Feb 2009.  
  • The new aerospace park will provide a community for aerospace manufacturing with units available in 20,000 sq ft parcels of land or pre-fabricated building.
  • In addition to the establishment of the presence in the aerospace park, Tri Polus works with clients to market and bring international investment and customers to the aerospace park.

Client

Various USA and European.

Project

  • Working with various Tier 2 and 3 suppliers to establish a source of manufacturing and engineering services from lower-cost regions such as Poland, India and Turkey.
  • Analysis of the packages and provide feedback on feasibility of off-shoring.
  • For those parts that can be off-shored identify suitable suppliers who are vetted by Tri Polus for quality and delivery.
  • Initiate the quote and supply process.
  • Strategic business planning leading to execution plans.
