Michael has spent 17 years as a telecommunications industry executive in the area of wireless communication and new media companies.  He is a current member of the Information and Communications Technology Group (ICTG) of the UMTS Forum for 3G mobile systems.  He formed and led a US/European consortium in the development of an interactive wireless network targeting distance education, electronic commerce, and other advanced direct to home (DTH) multimedia applications. He directed a satellite manufacturing enterprise team responsible for $1.1 billion dollars in commercial satellite systems orders, and is Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Chief Operating Officer of a cellular technology start-up company.

He facilitated a $37 million dollar investment by a Korean chaebol in a satellite communications company partnership, and has provided consultant services to a Korean company to fund, manage, and technically develop two spin-off ventures in the design and manufacture of space-associated RF products.   He has implemented a number of strategic alliances and partnerships involving satellite and mixed media services in North and South America, Western and Eastern Europe and Russia   He is a frequent contributor and speaker at seminars, trade shows, and new media events.
