James holds a Beng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering. After working in a number of design engineer roles, he joined Satellites International Ltd in 1993, where he became Head of the Space Division, responsible for all projects in the Division. From 1996-2000 he was first Sales and Marketing Director, then Technical Director within Space Innovations Ltd (SIL), where he was responsible for all Company projects under contract to ESA, BNSC, QinetiQ and a wide range of International countries including the USA, Australia and Japan.

On leaving SIL, he joined Analyticon Ltd, where he held the position of Business Relationships Executive, responsible for all space sector marketing and sales activities. James is now Managing Director of Nohmia Ltd, and also holds the position of Chairman of ASTOS, a Trade Association representing space sector SMEs. He is a Sector Lead within Tri Polus.
